If you do not wish to book a guided tour, please see the information below about group registrations and third-party tours.

Please see entrance fees here.

Please register all museum visits with groups of 10 or more at least two weeks in advance. Depending on how busy the museum is, groups may be split up for admission and enter the exhibition at different times. Groups without prior registration may be turned away at the entrance.

There is a fee of 10 euros per group plus admission. If larger groups are split up, the fee is charged for each resulting group. Rescheduling and changes are included. The fee is not refundable in the event of cancellation. This administration fee is waived for schools and student groups.

Please make your group registration via our online ticket shop. Payment is possible with credit cards, instant bank transfers and PayPal. Please contact our Info Service for payments by invoice or to arrange a date for large groups for which you cannot find a time slot through the online ticket shop.

The advantages of group registration:

  • Museum spaces are not overfilled.
  • There is no wait at the entrance.
  • You do not have to buy tickets in advance.
  • On the day of your visit, you pay only for the number of tickets required at our group ticket counter.

If your group would like to take a tour with your own guide, please register a third-party tour at least two weeks in advance. This is subject to a fee of 50 euros per group.

Please book your third-party tour though our online ticket shop. Payment is possible with credit cards, instant bank transfers and PayPal. For groups of 25 or more, you can book a combination of a third-party tour and a tour led by a Staatliche Museen guide. In this case, please contact our Info Service. Please also contact our Info Service if you wish to pay by invoice or require assistance finding a date for large groups for which you cannot find a suitable time slot via the online ticket shop.

When you book a tour or register a group, we reserve the indicated number of admission tickets. Please inform yourself in advance of your visit about admission prices as well as reduced and free admissions.
