The October edition of the “In Conversation” series focused on Katharina Grosse's artistic work: in 2020, the exhibition "It Wasn’t Us" was the first exhibition in the Historic Hall of Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart to seamlessly combine indoor and outdoor space. “I paint myself out of the building,” is how the artist describes her work on site. Visitors to Katharina Grosse's work are constantly presented with new movements and perspectives, between exhibition and performance, between painting and architecture.
The series “In Conversation” will be will be moderated by members of the Hamburger Bahnhof curatorial team and is admission free. “In Conversation” is made possible by the support of Deutsche Bank for a period of two years.
