Open House. Tage der offenen Tür: Free admission to Hamburger Bahnhof from 12 until 14 June 2026. More
Since April 2018, Volkswagen Group Art4All at Hamburger Bahnhof has been inviting visitors to discover new approaches to the works in the collection and the current exhibitions. This is encouraged by educational offers and an artistic supporting programme aimed at a broad audience.
The Volkswagen Group Art4All Offenes Atelier invites you to become actively creative, inspired by contemporary art. Materials, artistic techniques, and encounters with artists provide new ways to explore both personal and collaborative creativity.
Open to all and requiring no prior experience, it offers a space to experiment, try out ideas, and develop your own projects at your own pace.
Every Friday and Saturday, the doors of the studio in the Rieckhallen are open to visitors from 2 to 5 pm, inviting them to experiment and engage in creative activities.
Friday and Saturday, 2 pm – 5 pm
The Open Studio for Families invites children and adults together to experiment and get creative. Monthly changing themes, such as a writing workshop for children and adults, designing family posters or creating new collages from old photos, offer a wide range of ideas. This gives families new opportunities to discover artistic projects together and get actively involved in them.
Sunday, 12 noon – 5 pm
The Open Studio format is being developed specifically for schools to provide students with open spaces for experimentation, exploration, and creative work. The new studio program invites participants to engage in active artistic work inspired by original works of contemporary art. An exhibition visit provides an initial impulse that can be freely explored in the studio and transformed into a work of art.
Monday to Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm
Friday, 9 am – 2 pm
Made possible by Volkswagen Group: Lead Partner of Education.
