Museums are more than just places to look – they are places to linger, create and experience things together. We have redesigned the Rieckhallen to offer exactly this space: a place where encounters take place, creativity is encouraged and new ideas can emerge. With the Rieckhallenatelier, our institution's educational and outreach work becomes more visible and lively, as it is a central part of the Hamburger Bahnhof.
In the studio, groups have the opportunity to come together undisturbed and work creatively. But individual visitors are also welcome to come in, take a seat and take a creative break during their tour.
Every Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm we open our doors to adults for the Open Studio, while on Sundays between 12 pm and 5 pm the whole family can get creative together at the Volkswagen Group Art4All Family Sunday. During the week, the studio is mainly available to school classes and groups.
Our programme is closely linked to the museum's exhibitions and collections and is geared towards the interests and needs of our visitors. All workshops and programmes can also be booked individually.
Come by – the studio is looking forward to your ideas!
