The Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz is offering free admission to all visitors who are experiencing the impact of the current power outage in Berlin’s southwestern districts, effective from now until closing on Thursday, 8 January Sunday, 11 January 2026, in all the museum venues of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and at the Musikinstrumenten-Museum (Museum of Musical Instruments) of the Staatliches Institut für Musikforschung (National Institute for Music Research).
In this way, the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz would like to offer its support to those directly affected and also provide a warm place to pass the time during this difficult period.
Free admission applies to all those personally impacted by the power outage, including school classes and groups. The issue of free tickets is handled straightforwardly and confidentially at on-site ticket counters.
