Crossroads# Literature Meets Art: Event Series at Hamburger Bahnhof Begins in February 2025

04.02.2025
Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart

In collaboration with the Literaturhaus Berlin, Hamburger Bahnhof is expanding its gratis programming with the Crossroads# Literature Meets Art event series. It begins on 20 February 2025 with a discussion between Helene Hegemann and Daniel Richter.

Art and literature meet in the Crossroads# series of events: Writers come together with painters, sculptors with authors, and multimedia artists with poets, as their paths cross at the museum.

Writer Helene Hegemann and artist Daniel Richter kick off the new series of readings at the museum on Thursday, 20 February 2025. Over the course of the year, Lena Gorelik, Cemile Sahin and Tonio Schachinger, among others, will meet at Crossroad#.

Entrance to all events is free of charge, no registration required.

Collaboration between Hamburger Bahnhof and the Literaturhaus Berlin

Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart, once a railway station, then a transport museum, is now a museum of contemporary art situated on the former border between East and West Berlin. Hamburger Bahnhof views itself as a hub and transit area for shaping future perspectives.

In 2025, the Literaturhaus Berlin also visits Hamburger Bahnhof on its Li-Be für die Stadt tour. Crossroads# offers the opportunity for creative people from various disciplines and backgrounds to come together to inspire new societal goals – a key characteristic of art as well as of Berlin.
