Prehistory and Protohistory

Pre- and protohistoric objects have been part of the moulds of the Gipsformerei since the 1880s. The Heinrich Schliemann finds from Troy form the focus, including pieces of the treasure of Priam. Today, this area has grown to around 670 moulds and includes both every day and ritual objects as well as early art as the sculpture of the Venus of Willendorf.
