This part of our mould holdings covers large parts of Asia, with emphasis on the Gandhara culture of northern Pakistan and eastern Afghanistan through to pieces from Japan and China. Numerous pictures show Buddha and scenes from his life, for example a Buddha Amithaba, worshiped as Buddha of Immeasurable Light and Life. Highlights here are the reliefs from the extensive temple complexes of the Khmer in the jungles of Cambodia.
