Berlin’s Lange Nacht der Museen (Long Night of Museums) is about to turn twenty! Twenty years ago, in February 1997, the first Lange Nacht der Museen was held, with 18 participating museums. On 19 August 2017, twenty years later, some 80 museums will be showcasing their displays. The motto for this summer’s event is ‘Made in Berlin’.

The following museums of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin are taking part: 



  • EUR 18 / conc. EUR 12 | Book tickets now
  • Children under 12 free. 
  • The ticket grants visitors access to all participating museums on 19 August 2017, in the evening from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets are also valid on public transport, on the vintage buses that will run on specific routes and for the entire BVG network, zones A,B,C, on 19.8./3 p.m. to 20.8./5 a.m.
  • Concessions are not available online or from electronic ticket machines.
