Focus | Responsibilities | Projects

  • Conservator responsible for the Oceania Collection of the Ethnologisches Museum and for organic objects (wood, plant fibre) of the North Africa, West- and Central Asia Collection of the Ethnologisches Museum
  • Conservation of objects made from organic materials such as plant fibres, wood, feathers, barkcloth etc.
  • Conservator in charge of the conservation and move of the oversized objects of the Oceania Collection (houses and canoes) to the Humboldt Forum

2005 until 2006 freelance conservator, conservation of archaelogical objects an installation of exhibitions
2005 Andrew W. Mellon summer internship (3 months) at the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI)
2000 until 2005 studied conservation of archaeological objects at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin (HTW) and 6 month internship at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum Exeter (RAMM)
