On 31 January 2016, more than 80 locations were featured in the Berlin-wide campaign 'Berlin Sagt Danke!'. The campaign's 'thank you' was directed at all Berliners and Berlin institutions that have actively provided assistance to refugees recently. The Staatliche Museen is proud that the following collections were included in the praise:

Bode-Museum

Guided tours for adults through the Skulpturensammlung and Museum für Byzantinische Kunst.

Multaqa: Refugees from Syria and Iraq take visitors on a tour, in German, through the Skulpturensammlung (Sculpture Collection) and Museum für Byzantinische Kunst (Museum of Byzantine Art).

Pergamonmuseum

Guided tours for adults through the collection of the Museum für Islamische Kunst.

15:00–16:00 and 16:30–17:30

Multaqa: Refugees from Syria and Iraq take visitors on a tour, in German, through the Museum für Islamische Kunst (Museum for Islamic Art).

Guided tours for adults through the collection of the Vorderasiatisches Museum.

15:00–16:00 and 16:30–17:30

Multaqa: Refugees from Syria and Iraq take visitors on a tour, in German, through the Vorderasiatische Museum (Museum of the Ancient Near East).

Entry to and participation in the tours are free. The number of participants is limited, however. The meeting place for each tour is the ticket desk in the participating museum.

The project 'Multaqa: Museum as Meeting Point – Refugees as Guides in Berlin Museums' is a collaboration between the Museum für Islamische Kunst, the Vorderasiatisches Museum, Skulpturensammlung and Museum für Byzantinische Kunst (all of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin) and Deutsches Historisches Museum.
