Beginning on 10 April 2024, the Pergamonmuseum is offering a new inclusivity educational service as part of the Bei Anruf Kultur service. The free telephone tours are intended to give people access to culture regardless of their disability, place of residence or mobility restrictions. In this way, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin is expanding its inclusivity outreach, with visits – via the telephone – to the Pergamonmuseum also being possible during its current closure.
On 10 April 2024, a telephone tour of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin visitor magnet is being offered for the first time. Under the motto “The Pergamon Altar: Goddesses and Gods Against Giants”, visual features and the encounter with the Altar are described over the telephone. The exhibition, which currently cannot be visited because of ongoing refurbishment, can nonetheless be experienced in this way.
Registration is required for the tour, which is free of charge. To register, please send an email to buchung[at]beianrufkultur.de or call +49 (0)40 209 404 36. Interested parties will receive the telephone access information on the day before the tour, allowing them to dial into a conference system on the day of the event.
