For your own safety and for the purposes of facilitating the most efficient possible contract tracing related to infections with the novel coronavirus, we are required to document your attendance at our events. In the following, we would like to inform you about how this information is handled:

3. Data categories

In connection with our events, we record the personal information that is required by the relevant authorities.

These include:

  • first and last names
  • phone number
  • full postal or email address
  • time and duration of attendance
  • where applicable, seat or table number

We do not require or process any other information.

4. Purpose of Data Processing and Legal Framework

The processing of these data is carried out in the interests of protecting the health of participants and of stemming the spread of the pandemic through contact tracing.

This is carried out in accordance with art. 6 para. 1c of the GDPR, and with art. 3 of the SARS-CoV-2 Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases issued by the state of Berlin.

5. Duration of Data Storage

The data that are collated will be deleted four weeks after the conclusion of the event.

6. Third Parties

The data are stored internally and are only handed over to local health authorities if requested.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data, as well as the right of rectification, erasure or restriction, a right to object to processing and a right to data portability.

Additionally, you have the right to make a complaint to a data privacy regulating body about the way we have processed your personal data (art. 77 GDPR). For the Stiftung Preussicher Kulturbesitz, the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) is the relevant body.
