What does graphic design look like today? Anyone seeking an overview of the trends and innovative approaches to graphic design in German-speaking countries will certainly find what they’re looking for at the 100 Beste Plakate 18 (100 Best Posters) exhibition.

The Kunstbibliothek, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (Art Library) in collaboration with the 100 Beste Plakate e.V. association presents the 100 best posters of 2018 from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This year’s jury of experts selected 2,353 entries in the categories of commissioned works, original graphics and assigned student projects. The collaboration between the association and the Kunstbibliothek goes back 18 years. As is now tradition the exhibition tour kicks off with the launch of the 2018 yearbook at the Berlin Kulturforum. The show travels to Essen, Lucerne, Vienna, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Zurich and other locations.

The 100 Best Posters will be on display for only three weeks in the Kulturforum’s special exhibition hall on the lower level. Free admission.
