A special exhibition of the Kunstbibliothek - Staatliche Museen zu Berlin in cooperation with the Berlin International Film Festival and the Deutsche Kinemathek.
With 300 film posters from twelve decades, the special exhibition "Great Cinema. Film Posters of All Times" has already attracted 20,000 visitors to the Berlin Kulturforum. In the last month of the exhibition's run, the art library is now offering a varied program of cinema-related events and extended opening hours.
There will be a grand event finale: talks and tours will offer new perspectives on film posters, a two-day public symposium on the Berlinale will examine film posters as "images of power", and families with children are invited to guided tours and workshops.
On the last weekend, the exhibition will be open until 8pm.
All events are free of charge and can be attended without registration. An exhibition ticket is required for guided tours. Children and young people under 18 are admitted free of charge.
