To mark Gallery Weekend, Hamburger Bahnhof invites everybody to enjoy a diverse range of music, engage in discussions about collections of contemporary art, and gain insights into creative processes. The museum will be open on Friday 1 May and Saturday 2 May 2026 until 10 pm.
On Friday, from 2 pm to 4 pm, there will be talks with international collectors who will share insights into their stories and discuss opportunities for global and local support. Pulitzer Prize winner Percival Everett will speak on Saturday afternoon as part of the fifth edition of “Crossroads#: Literature Meets Art”. Following this, the intergenerational orchestra “Banda Musicale di Olevano Romano” from Annika Kahr’s film will perform an open-air concert. On Saturday evening, from 7 pm, the museum, in collaboration with Kuboraum, invites visitors to enjoy live performances in the museum garden. The weekend concludes on Sunday afternoon with a new edition of “In Conversation” featuring Lina Lapelytė, who is opening her solo exhibition at the Hamburger Bahnhof as part of Gallery Weekend Berlin.
