Conservators mainly work behind the scenes. They have a wide range of tasks and are responsible for the preservation of museum artefacts. The 7th European Restoration Day will take place on Sunday, 20 October 2024. Conservators from various collections and museums on the Museum Island will provide exclusive insights into their demanding work. A special programme of guided tours through exhibitions, restoration studios and workshops and depots will provide new perspectives on the objects and the museum as an institution.
