What else is there? (Public Tour in German Language)

Only a portion of the works collected by Otto Gerstenberg and Julietta Scharf are on display at the museum in Charlottenburg. A much larger collection remains in the private possession of the family and is continually being added to.

For the first time, Julietta Scharf is granting a deeper insight into this part of the collection. Testimony to a passion for collecting that spans four generations, her collection draws a surprising and enjoyable arc from the Old Masters to contemporary object art. At the same time, it reveals the various possibilities for discovering the idea of the surreal in its smallest ramifications – in the works themselves as well as in their constellations.
