Do you know the Neue Nationalgalerie? What makes the museum an architectural icon? Which materials can be found in and on the building? This inclusive tour focuses entirely on the special, listed museum architecture. It is designed for people with and without visual impairments, with and without disabilities. The new tactile model serves as a starting point to literally “grasp” Mies van der Rohe's building in a tactile and interactive way. The model makes the key features of the museum hall tangible: the flowing transition from outside to inside through the glass façade and the mixture of simplicity, clarity and high-quality materials. The lower floor of the museum and – depending on the season – the sculpture garden are also explored together with offers for touching and invitations to sharpen perception.

Language: easy language, with tactile instructions.

The tour will be held in German.

Participation cost: 6€ plus admission.

Limited number of participants. Online booking recommended.
