Scotland is known for its pristine landscapes and rich cultural heritage. This workshop invites you to work together to discover the importance of traditions for the here and now. Using cashmere, tweed and tartan from Scotland, you embark on a journey through the past to create a new fabric from old tailcoats.
Led by:
Britta Kalkreuter, associate professor in Design Studies, Heriot Watt University &
Jenny Mason, textile artist and part of the collective Split Milk Gallery, Edinburgh.
The workshop lasts 2.5 hours and is suitable for parents with children aged 6 and over.
