In view of the ongoing difficult situation in Sudan, we would like to facilitate the exchange between Sudanese and German researchers and discuss the current state of Sudanese cultural heritage as well as efforts regarding its protection. The Sudan Day Berlin 2024 colloquium is organised by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the Sudan Archaeological Society Berlin (SAG) e.V., the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection (ÄMP), and the German Archaeological Institute (DAI Berlin, DAI-KAAK).

The conference will be held in English.
