As part of the Berlin Art Week Garden (10 to 14 September) at Hamburger Bahnhof, this symposium will address the contemporary museum as a social space. Under the title Shaping the Future of Cultural Spaces and Museums Today, professionals from Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona and beyond will discuss current challenges, societal entanglements, and new institutional models for museums of contemporary art.

Moderated by Elke Buhr (Monopol), Kimberly Bradley (independent art critic and author), and Kate Brown (artnet).
