The Fountain Archives, Live 2026

Twenty-six texts were written in response to the monumental work The Fountain Archives which explores Marcel Duchamp’s famous readymadeas well as the theme of plumbing. Ten of them were set to music by AugustinMaurs for voice and flute under the title “Musiques pour tuyauterie” in 2018.

Twenty-three texts were written in response to Anthologie de l’humour noir, a work addressing the crucial question of the museum’s place within the city. They will be interpreted freely in an improvisation session.

Hamburger Bahnhof on Tour

With the monthly event series “Hamburger Bahnhof On Tour,” the museum is placing a special focus on networking with Berlin cultural actors for its 30th anniversary: from February to July 2026, Hamburger Bahnhof, in collaboration with Freunde* Guter Musik Berlin e. V., will host six concerts and performances by the Berlin artists Annika Kahrs and Saâdane Afif at the Musikinstrumenten-Museum SIM, Berliner Medizinhistorisches Museum, Ev. Heilige-Geist-Kirche, in the Roter Salon der Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, KM28, and the Kantine am Berghain.
