When you visit the immersive panorama by artist Yorleny Cardozo Peña, you’ll get to experience the flora and Fauna of the Colombian mountain massif as well as guardian figures that are thousands of years old. In an artistic laboratory, you will then explore the superpowers of animals, observe insects and plants with digital microscopes, learn about the vital importance of biodiversity and design their own three-dimensional protective beings.

The workshop was created as part of a collaboration between the Instituto Colombiano de Antropología e Historia (ICANH), and CoMuse, the Collaborative Museum at the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst in Berlin. It aims to empower the children to discover their own “superpowers” so that they do not feel powerless in the face of climate change and species extinction.
