The large, massive figure made of metal, Têtes et Queue, has stood in Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s transparent, glass hall since 1968. A dialogue develops between lightness and heaviness. Surprising connections, interactions and confrontations between the architecture and Calder’s colossal stabiles are examined on the guided tour.
