In his work, Marouf explores the fragmental nature of queer memory, loss and desire, their temporality and how they are embodied through poetry, gesture and choreography. For this edition of PERFORM! Marouf is presenting an iteration / Stanza for two dancers from his performance "And Now It is Night". A cruising dance between two queer strangers can possibly signal a cruising dance with the unknown and the uncertainty of time, a human condition we might all endure.
