The October edition of the “In Conversation” series focuses on Katharina Grosse's artistic work: in 2020, the exhibition It Wasn’t Us was the first exhibition in the Historic Hall of Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart to seamlessly combine indoor and outdoor space. “I paint myself out of the building,” is how the artist describes her work on site. Visitors to Katharina Grosse's work are constantly presented with new movements and perspectives, between exhibition and performance, between painting and architecture.
Katharina Grosse in conversation with Mathilda Legemah from Hamburger Bahnhof, Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart.
