The Altes Museum, Neues Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Bode-Museum and the Pergamonmuseum ‒ the panorama of the Museumsinsel is located directly across from Haus Bastian. When and how did this site come into being? What stories do the buildings tell about themselves and their architects? What might the Museumsinsel look like in a few years? School groups discover the Museumsinsel and explore its eventful history. Through drawing they collect views and details of the various buildings and works of art. At Haus Bastian, the participants supplement these sketches with commentary, architectural forms and independently researched information, subsequently merging them into a panoramic collage.
