Project Day for Class Trips
Grades 5 – 13
From the Bust of Queen Nefertiti and the Bronze Age Gold Hat to Caspar David Friedrich’s The Monk by the Sea, Museum Island is home to a wide variety of highlights of art and cultural history. Which objects on display do school groups find particularly interesting? Which ones irritate them and make them ask questions? School groups choose individual topics and approaches for their explorations of the collections on the Museumsinsel. In pairs, students choose their highlights, which they comment on, interpret and whose aesthetics they research, using analog and digital media. At Haus Bastian they process their notes and recordings to combine them into video clips..
