The Digital Museum Services are responsible for managing applications and specialized IT at the National Museums in Berlin. They oversee museum documentation and research data management, along with the associated applications. They are also in charge of the National Museums in Berlin website and the digital presentation and accessibility of the collections via “Collections Online.” One area of development within the department is digital mediation/engagement, both within and beyond exhibitions.
