Regular Admission - to quarters / areas or to single museums - are valid for permanent exhibitions of the National Museums in Berlin.
Special exhibitions may obtain separate admission.

Discounted Admission
In general the discount amounts 50%. Discounted admission is granted to pupils (children under the age of 16 free), students, performer of conscription or communtity service, unemployed persons and disabled persons (min. 50%). Proof of status must be provided in each case.
Tickets are available 30 minutes before regular closing at museum cash points,
Thursday 30 minutes before the "free admission time" for all permanent exhibitions.
Credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Maestrocard, JCB, American Express) and EC cards are accepted
at all museum cash points of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin.
Free admission is granted to:
a) all visitors on thursdays four hours before regular closing
b) children under the age of 16
c) school classes accompanied by a teacher (reservation needed)
d) students accompanied by a college or university lecturer (reservation needed)
e) members of the International Council of Museums and the Deutscher Museumsbund (membership card needed)
f) Members of funding associations of one of the state museums of Berlin, on presentation of appropriate identification, are entitled to free entrance to the museum sponsored by their organisation
g) holders of a valid press pass
h) welfare / unemployment compensation recipient (official proof of status needed)
i) companions of a severely handicapped person if noted on the severely handicapped pass
j) visitors of the study and reading rooms

Free admission for all exhibitions for children and teenager under the age of 16.
Thursday: four hours before regular closing the visitors have free admission at all permanent exhibitions.

Individual guided tours in German 60,00 Euro
Individual guided tours in other languages 65,00 Euro
Guided tours for school groups in German, 11th grade upwards 35,00 Euro
Guided tours for school groups in other languages 40,00 Euro
External guides: 25,00 Euro for 1 hour, group with 20 - 25 persons, subject to regulations of the museum

The department of Visitor Services of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin offers a large number of guided tours and events. For details see event calendar. School classes and groups will be allocated a guide after telephone booking.
