The exhibition 'p0es1s. Digital Poetry' allows an international view on the state of the art of a rapidly developing genre, which has its place between the arts, and which is to be seen against the background of the latest developments in the new media.
Digital Poetry is creative, experimental, playful or critical linguistic art, achieved through programming, multimedia, animation, interactivity and internet communication.
The exhibition captivates the visitors in a virtual world of digital poetry, and allows them to experience it and to form it by themselves.
For example, visitors experience a rain of words, which they can influence, stop or create anew with their bodies; they can work out erotic stories with the help of a 'machine of strength', or they can actively join in with the artistic process and generate new texts.
'p0es1s' features 30 artists from eight countries, among them Eduardo Kac (Brazil), Bill Seaman (USA) and Frank Fietzek (Germany).
