Art talks and activities
Offers for children, young people and families
Tours and workshops open up the museum as a place for children to experience making their own discoveries. Through play and exploration they can actively develop their own approaches. A team of art historians, art educationalists and visual artists are on the spot to direct and assist.
You can find the current programme and topics in the calendar of events.
We usually offer several days of practical artistic courses for various groups during school vacations.

The end of the summer holidays coincided with the launch of the MIXART Festival, the winning project by six young participants from Berlin, on show at the Hamburger Bahnhof. On offer are workshops held by teenagers for teenagers. Topics range from sound art, performance and the visual fine arts. The winners have planned the workshops together with artists - everything produced in the workshops will be presented in an exhibition at the Hamburger Bahnhof.
