Avoid the queues, book tickets for "The Vikings" now

The Staatliche Museen's exhibition "The Vikings" opens on 10 September at the Martin-Gropius-Bau. Tickets for the once-in-a-lifetime exhibition are already available and can be purchased via the Staatliche Museen's online ticket shop. Each ticket is valid for a half-hour time slot, allowing ticket holders to avoid the main queue. Guided tours can also be booked online.

The exhibition features spectacular archaeological finds unearthed in the last century, including the longship Roskilde 6. The vessel is the highlight of the exhibition and is going on display for the first time since its discovery. Another highlight is formed by a replica of a Viking vessel that will be constructed over the course of the exhibition by shipbuilders from the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde. Visitors will have the opportunity to watch the shipbuilders at work using original Viking techniques and methods.
