The Staatliche Museen zu Berlin offers a range of research grants and fellowships to scholars from outside of the museum. At present, we have five programmes dedicated to fostering research based on and into objects in our collections and archival material. Through these projects, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin can also further build its international network of academics and research institutions around the globe.
The curators and research staff at the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin regularly engage with the wider research community and are involved in various interdisciplinary projects through their cooperation with museums in Germany and abroad. We have initiated two new programmes to foster this exchange between our staff and scholars throughout the world.
