Education and outreach

Have you always wanted to learn more about Canova’s dancer? Are you curious about the stories behind famous sculptures? Or would you like to learn more about the various materials used to make works of art?

You can enrich your exploration of the museum by using an audio guide, joining a public tour, or booking a private tour or workshop that suits your personal interests. Regular event series such as The Bode-Museum for the Whole Family and One Hour - Three Highlights take a new theme every time and invite even those visitors familiar with the collection to come experience it in a whole new way.

Children can also find out more about Hercules’ battle against the Hydra; uncover the secrets of knights, dragons, and devils; meet the most famous mother in the world; and make drawings of the objects in the museum.
