Education and outreach

Coin enthusiasts will be pleased to know that all five museums on the Museum Island include minted coins and medals of the highest quality.

In addition to its large collection on display, the Bode Museum has a public study room where visitors can use the numismatic specialist library (a reference library that does not lend materials) and find more information on numismatics. Visitors can also schedule an appointment to view objects from the collection that are not currently on display.

Once a month, the Bode Museum’s Münzkabinett (Numismatic Collection) holds public tours for adults or families with children. Visitors can also book private tours on topics of their choice.
